A great man dies

2006

Peter’s illness ultimately left him tired and ready “to turn off the lights”. He assured his loved ones he was not afraid of death and believed he would wake up in a better place, reunited with those that had gone before. Throughout his life, Peter told others that when a loved one dies, there should not be sadness and mourning. On the contrary, he thought there should be a great party to celebrate their life. He loved the idea of a party happening on earth at the same time as a party happening “on the other side”. In October 2006, Peter was admitted to hospital and died peacefully on 15th November 2006 with his family at his bedside.
